Succession Planning
In order to provide stability and long-term growth, every nonprofit organization needs succession planning; more specifically, how to find and locate quality board members, volunteers, and administrative staff. The second part of this equation is being able to effectively communicate an organization’s vision, mission, goals and objectives while moving from and transitioning to each generation of leadership.
Lack of clarity and understanding, poor documentation and communication, can severely impact growth and development – even to the point of paralysis. In every organization, it is critical to find, nurture, and plant seeds for future growth.
