LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Leadership can be defined as an individual’s ability to influence, motivate, engage and empower others to effectively contribute to an organization’s overall mission and vision. In a broader sense, CIE understands nonprofit organizations can provide effective leadership and guidance within the community; thus, making a more profound impact on its surroundings and its inhabitants.
Generally speaking, the culture or fiber of an organization is a direct reflection of their leadership’s vision and management. Within the nonprofit arena, an Executive Director has the daunting task of keeping the organization focused and on task in fundraising, board relations, financial management, human resources, and public relations. |
